Chando is a resident of New York City. Chando was an undergraduate of Manhattan College when she became an actor. Chando was the original Maddie Coleman of the television soap opera As World Changes. She played this role between 2005 and 2007 and then again, for a period of time after the show's end in 2009. Alexandra first came to prominence acting in 2002, when she played Jenna Harper on the TV Show House Blend. As the World Turns, a CBS-aired American soap opera, lasted three years. Alexandra played Maddie Coleman. Chando was a part of the American documentary films True life and Sherri in 2009, and was also a part of the Maddie Coleman character in the series As the World turns. In addition, Chando starred in two episodes of Glory Daze as Annabelle. Her credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People and Outcast.
