American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her acting career began as a supporting actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She was later a reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and played a supporting part in the short-lived show The Ex List. In the premiere season, she played the character of Moira O'Hara as an untried Moira and in the second season she played Kaylee. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voiced a variety of characters from Family Guy's animated comedy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother at the age of 10. They moved around for one year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge became interested in acting, photography and singing when she was 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother at the age of 15 to pursue her acting career.
